There are many reasons the Y2K bug is not as big a deal as it seems . The first of which is the fact that it has been reported by thousands of major and minor organizations that they will be Y2K compliant before the turn of the millennium . That is, the programming on each and every computer, network, and anything else that includes the date in it's programming will be either reprogrammed or replaced so that the bug does not effect that organization's technological affairs . The Pentagon, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the stock markets and hundreds of others say they will be, or already are, prepaired for the millennium .
